LDF is a long-standing performing arts school for mixed ability students with a passion for dance and music.

La Danse Fantastique, was founded by Moira Brock in 1990, It is a school for the performing arts, mixing children with special needs and able bodied, through music, dance and shows, where they all get to express themselves.

Moira has taught Ballet, Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre, Drama, and Singing and for the last 30 years, to children and toddlers of all ages and abilities, and along with her talented team of teachers, provides a truly inclusive setting, where those with special needs are genuinely integrated, which serves both sets of children equally, enabling able-bodied children to accept and understand those with differences. At the same time, helping those with differences to express themselves in an understanding environment.

LDF is also proud of the fact that we are affilliated with THE LONDON BALLET COMPANY

Back in December 2022 LDF was invited to audition for an affiliation with The London Ballet Company. As this is a very coveted position we were not sure if we would be successful. There are only 5 affiliations offered per year out of the whole country. Imagine our delight when we were told we are one of the 5 schools chosen.

This is a huge honour for our school and one which is a privilege to be a part of. We had to achieve a really high standard to have been awarded this title, and as a school we are very proud to be working with Trinity College to give inspiration and belief to all our students and young people.
